360 Public Relations Expands Reach, Adding D.C., San Francisco

BOSTON - Coming off another year of strong growth, consumer specialist agency 360 Public Relations is expanding its reach for clients, opening a Washington, D.C. office, and announcing plans to open a Bay Area office this summer, with key team members already in place in both markets.

Caitlin Chalke, a native Washingtonian, has been named Director of 360PR’s D.C. office. Chalke spent the last three years immersed in 360PR’s culture at the agency’s Boston headquarters and has relocated to Washington. Chalke began her career on the Global PR team at Coty Prestige, spent time at Rogers & Cowan, and worked for Formula PR prior to joining 360PR in 2011.

Meredith Gandy, Senior Publicist, is leading work for 360PR clients in consumer tech, edtech and digital entertainment who have needs in the Bay Area. Gandy previously spent six years at KQED in San Francisco, one of the country’s flagship public television stations, promoting both prime-time and kids’ programming.

“We’ve been considering a West Coast presence for some time given the volume of work we do on behalf of 360PR clients with media and other influencers in the Bay Area, as well as up and down the coast from Seattle to Southern California,” said 360PR CEO Laura Tomasetti. “We also have a growing base of clients in and around the Beltway. Caitlin’s desire to move back to her ‘hometown’ presented the right opportunity to initiate a 360PR presence in D.C.” Tomasetti, who spent the first several years of her career at agencies in Washington, will work closely with Chalke to grow 360PR’s newest office.

“There’s a real energy here in Washington, with more and more consumer-facing businesses in the Baltimore, Washington and Northern Virginia area, as well as non-profits and trade associations with consumer education needs,” said Chalke. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to extend 360PR’s reach to a new city.”

360PR’s D.C. office is located in Chinatown, in close proximity to the National Press Club, Verizon Center, Union Station and Reagan National Airport. The agency’s Bay Area office will be located in Downtown San Francisco.
