Mike is a hands-on senior media strategist with a keen ability to articulate brand benefits in a way that compels major media to cover. As one example, he’s helped Honeywell translate its technical home environment products and features to a home comfort and lifestyle story relevant for today’s consumers.
Mike has led a myriad of successful campaigns since joining 360PR in 2007. That includes a long-running cold and flu season campaign that effectively supports sales of Vicks and Braun thermometers. Mike also works closely with Meredith Publishing, overseeing publicity for FamilyFun Magazine, which includes regular TODAY Show and other broadcast appearances with the magazine’s editors, and, rolling out the “What’s Your Healthy?” initiative, a collaboration between Meredith Publishing and Aetna. In the area of home entertainment, Mike spearheaded the launch of Disney Publishing Worldwide’s digital book apps, and helped The National Wildlife Federation introduce Ranger Rick to a new generation of families with a series of apps and a new magazine.
Prior to 360PR, Mike spent time at Weber Shandwick, where he was nominated for PRWeek’s Young PR Professional of the Year and contributed to Ocean Spray’s “Bogs Across America” campaign and the CVS/pharmacy business. He also worked at Havas’ Arnold Worldwide on Gillette’s TAG Body Spray for Men and the American Legacy Foundation’s truth® campaign.
